The latest? Pat Santeramo, long-time president of the Broward Teacher’s Union is being criminally investigated amidst charges of, among other things, misusing a “mere” $3.8 million of union reserves, that he was overpaid some $30,000 during the last seven years and that he used union dues for political contributions. Go figure…a union thug blowing through union reserves, getting overpaid and using union dues for his leftist comrades. How novel.

Without a doubt folks, the entire Broward County school system, its Board, its Superintendent and its union are one of the biggest blights in the South Florida community. They serve absolutely no purpose other than attempting to further their own twisted, degenerate agenda.

Yes, we have seen this before.  Recall Supreme Court Justice Hon. Clarence Thomas, when he was a nominee.  I’ve had the honor of meeting with Justice Thomas on more than a few occasions and I cannot express how glad I am for his presence within our Supreme Court.  That said, while I’m not suggesting the Thomas – Cain  scenarios are identical, it is clear that the motivation behind both scenarios is identical.  So too was the (successful) effort of the left to malign Robert Bork.

But be careful Libs…recall it was your lot who continually beat the drums of “it’s inconsequential,” “it’s his personal life,” “it doesn’t relate in any way to his ability to serve as President,” etc., etc., etc., ad infin., when it was one of your bunch who was out committing adultery, raping women and, of course, receiving oral sex within the Oval Office, with the left even excusing such behavior even when it reached the point of perjury and impeachment. So I guess the same holds true here too, right?  Right.

While Obama’s numbers are tanking, his approval rating plummeting even among his own base, there is one group who continue to strongly support him – “latinos.” Well, at least “latinos” in California anyway. According to DHS, there are roughly 2.6 million illegals in California as of 2009. This figure represents 25% of the total number of illegals in the entire United States. Of those 2.6 million illegals in California, it is estimated that the majority are from Mexico, with the number of illegals from Mexico estimated to be 6.7 million in the United States as a whole.

Long story short folks, it’s about votes. Always has been, always will be with the Dems. It’s never been about the Democrats, and Obama, seeking to extend “opportunity” to those allegedly “seeking a better life.” The Dems/Obama don’t even do that for our own citizens and those immigrants who are here legally. No, it’s all about securing their re-election. Any suggestion to the contrary is simply absurd.
